1+1 CleanMode
Block accidental keyboard and pointer input while you wipe down your Mac, cover every display, and exit safely when you’re done.
Temporarily suppress keyboard, click, and scroll activity while you clean.
Protect one screen or every connected display with a calm cleaning surface.
Leave Cleaning Mode with a fixed, deliberate safety shortcut.
Why 1+1 CleanMode?
A keyboard keeps accepting input even when you only mean to wipe it. 1+1 CleanMode gives you a safer pause between work and cleaning.
A cat or another curious pet can walk across your keyboard, trigger shortcuts, and close a file before your latest work is saved.
1+1 CleanMode ignores those accidental keypresses.
The login screen still accepts keystrokes. Cleaning can enter repeated incorrect passwords and temporarily lock you out of your account.
1+1 CleanMode blocks input without using the login screen.
On supported Mac laptops, pressing a key can power the Mac back on—right in the middle of cleaning the keyboard.
1+1 CleanMode lets the Mac stay on while input stays off.
See it in action
Start a timed cleaning session from the menu bar, give your keyboard and screen the attention they deserve, then return to work.
Designed around your Mac
Begin full cleaning with one click, or choose Keyboard Only or Screen Only. Set a session duration and get back to work automatically.
Choose the screens you want to cover, pick a cleaning color, and keep safety guidance visible while you work.
A fixed two-Command-key safety gesture prevents an accidental exit while keeping you in control. A configurable start shortcut makes beginning just as fast.
A little company
Add an optional, calm companion to your cleaning screen and choose which display it calls home.
Entirely optional. Keep the experience minimal, or bring the cat along.
Private by design
1+1 CleanMode has no account, analytics, cloud service, or data transmission. Input events are inspected only long enough to suppress them or recognize the safety exit shortcut.
